Madison and Jack have been reading their bee books and are on the same mission as last summer… saving the bees! This year they purchased a bee barn for pollinating bees to have a safe nesting house and to provide shelter for butterfly’s.
They really enjoyed their time outside this weekend and Madison did a great job selling cookies with her Sparks troop.
Today we celebrated Madison’s SDR Anniversary- 2 years spasticity free! We are so grateful for the care and guidance Dr Park and his team in St Louis provided for our family and to all our therapists and supporters…we will never be able to properly thank everyone for the gift you have all given Madison.
Tonight we cancelled Madison’s workout and surprised her by going to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate!
Madison walked for an hour outside today at physio with Stephanie. It was a beautiful day and she loved every moment of exploring. She walked on tile, brick, dirt, roots, grass and wood chips! It was amazing to watch!
Madison and Jack had a very relaxing day. Things were extra busy this past week so it was nice to slow down and spend most of the day playing, getting Easter ready and lounging in pyjamas.
Today was the Princess Ball at The Liberty Grand! It’s an event organized by wishes for Olivia to raise money for The Children’s Wish Foundation. Madison was invited with her friend Taylor as VIP guests and they had an amazing afternoon!
Madison had so much to smile about today! Her day started with some exercising, dancing & swimming at Variety Village. She then spent her afternoon with her buddy Evelyn for some shopping, crafts, a dance party and dress up! It was a great Saturday!

Her day started with a fun morning at March of Dimes! After some lunch and colouring with Suzanne she headed to Variety Village.
Madison has made the transition to most environments with just her canes or nothing, but the pool deck has been tricky for her. She gets nervous with the water on deck as she slips quite a bit. Today she decided to try her canes and she did great! She also tried to teach herself to walk backwards in the pool. After her swim she headed to the gym for a workout with Melissa!
After all her hard work it was time to celebrate her Flames teammate Aly who just broke a world record at Canadian Trials this past weekend. She will be swimming at the World Championships this summer and Madison is looking forward to watching and cheering her on.
